Client spotlight – Fortson Dentistry office employees

I was contacted by the lovely Katie at Fortson Dentistry because they are updating their website. They needed new headshots for their employees at three different offices. Since they had recently done to updates to their offices, Katie wanted to do the shoot on location and use their offices as a backdrop instead of a studio. It was a great way to customize the shoot to their business.

Here is a sample of just some of the Milford office.

Since they have three different offices and 38 employees, it made the most sense to split the shoot into two different days and two of their offices. We arranged for my stylists to come in for touch-ups for everyone’s hair and makeup. Adding on makeup and hair touch-ups is helpful to have everyone looking their best and it’s a couple of minutes of pampering. Thanks to my amazing stylists Alisha and Rosa who did a great job making everyone camera-ready!

We were also able to capture some group shots and candid branding images. These will be used for their website and social media. And I HAD to grab a shot of the super cute little mascot pup that was in the office while I was there!

I’m not sure how they manage to hire such nice people at Fortson, but in my experience, everyone was so kind! It was a pleasure working with them!

Tips from the shoot

When you’re having multiple employees’ headshots done for your website, social media, etc. it is helpful for them to look uniform. Fortunately, in this case, everyone had and wore black scrubs and jackets. The dentists wore a white jacket or scrubs and branded jackets and I think it turned out great!
