Senior portrait location series

The Nichols Arboretum located in downtown Ann Arbor Michigan is a popular senior portrait location for good reason! The Arb is most known for it’s awesome peony garden that blooms in May. But there is much more to the area that makes it a great location for senior portraits.

• Since it’s located right in downtown Ann Arbor, if you want a location with nature as well as some city vibes this is a good option.
• Since the Huron river flows through the park it’s a good if you’d like a location with water. It’s one of the few locations that you can easily get into the water if you want.
• There is a house at the road where you enter the park which
• There are also lots of trails, trees and wild flowers.

Parking is tricky! Becareful because there are a lot of permitted only spaces in the area. There are a few parallel parking spots directly in front of the location. If those are full you can try to park in the parking garage for the hospital right next door/across the street.
