Senior portrait location series

Parker Mill County park is a smaller park in Ann Arbor outside of Downtown off of Geddes Rd. Even though it’s a smaller park then the Matthaei Botanical Gardens or the Arb, it has it’s own personality and options for varity for seniors who want more of a natural nature location.

It tends to be a quieter park with the occasional runner or person walking their dog. And has lots of areas of interest within a fairly short walking distance. This is a location that I do recommend if you would like water since Fleming Creek flows through the park. It is water you can get into since it’s not deep. In addition to the Creek, there are two bridges and a couple of barn-like buildings. For those looking for locations with flowers, although sometimes there are some wildflowers, it isn’t the location for you if you definitely want flowers.
