Meg came into my Northville Studio for her first experience with professional headshots for Linkedin. I always ask about other possible ways you could/may want to have the images. I always tell clients, you went to the trouble to look great and get in front of the camera so let’s make the most of it. So for some things she may explore we got some variety with her headshot session.

What-to-wear tips from Meg’s session. For Meg’s profession, she wanted to make sure her headshots read as friendly but professional which influenced her outfit choices. You can’t go wrong with a well-fitted blazer or jacket. They do a nice job of giving a professional vibe while laying on the body for a flattering fit. The blazers Meg brought weren’t too different but because they were different neutral colors (one warm and one cool) but paired with different backgrounds give the variety to make the images feel very different. Meg also brought a more casual sweater as an option that matched her blue eyes and looks great with her dark hair.
